Commercial Photojournalism For Chivas
This commercial photojournalism assignment was for Chivas Regal who had some invitation-only parties in Los Angeles to promote their brands through social media. I photographed two events that told a story of the Chivas Lifestyle: youth, smart clothes, nightlife, friends and Chivas Regal.
In this case I had one photography assistant to help with the lighting as we wandered around looking for images with the art director. As a commercial photojournalist I sometimes influence or choreograph scenes when the elements don’t come together to represent the story but we were fortunate on this shoot because there was so much good material to photograph. We had a good looking, willing, well dressed and hip crow drinking free alcohol. It doesn’t get any better.
In the end the client loved the images and the story they told about their product.
