This picture was commissioned by an advertisng agency for CVS Pharmacy. They were seeking digital photographers in Los Angeles to discuss a last minute architectural job for a CVS Pharmacy s. CVS sent comps for reference but added that they wanted to see several people coming and going from the store. This was a problem since some of the pictures they wanted were to be shot at night with long exposures.

Given that they needed the picture by the next morning and they wanted an evening shot, there was no way possible to accomplish this photograph by their deadline. I explained that if we were to use conventional film-based methods of photography it would have taken a great deal of production: lights, assistants, models, film processing time, etc.

I suggested that I instead shoot the job digitally and, through various in-camera and post-production methods, we could achieve the same look and turn the pictures around by the next morning.

The advertising agency agreed with my solution and hired us for the shoot. They were consequently thrilled with the pictures, as was CVS Pharmacy. Digital Compositing and Digital Post Production

Bax Global was seeking a Los Angeles digital photographer to document the interior workings of their new Los Angeles Airport warehouse facility. They initially were seeking a digital photojournalist to photograph people working inside their facility for a press release. Soon after it became clear that they needed someone with creative digital photography and post production skills to execute their needs.

After scouting the location it became clear that there was more potential to the site than what they were asking for so I suggested a beauty shot of the building. The building's second floor was empty with no ceiling cover or office furniture; just an ugly cement floor and wooden rafters with ventilation ducts visible from the ground. Since BAX wanted a beauty shot of their building I had to come up with creative techniques that allowed me to make it beautiful.

For this digital photograph I used a 1200 watt power pack and one head to light whole second floor and was in place and shooting by 4:30 AM.

They also needed digital photojournalism of their facilities for magazine publication and they needed it the ware house to look busy. Although the warehouse is very busy, the area they wanted photographed would not be in full swing for several hours, but I was able to create a busy warehouse floor using digital techniques without having to use models or stop their busy personnel and direct their activities.

Computer Magazine Seeks Digital Photographer in Los Angeles, California

An editorial client was seeking a digital photography studio in Los Angeles so they hired us to photograph attorneys from a law firm because they needed a Los Angeles digital photographer to shoot a group of 13 attorneys that would be present on different days.

Since only 10 attorneys were available on the first day, we had to do some careful planning of the photograph digital composite work so it would look like the attorneys were photographed at the same time.

We executed the digital photograph by shooting part of the group one day, after plotting their positions, then plotting the positions of the remaining three that would arrive at the same location the following week. Afterwards we put the pictures together in Photoshop for a seamless picture.

A California based design firm was seeking digital photographers Los Angeles based to help create unique solution for the redesign of a Hollywood animation studios website.

They wanted to distinguish the management of the studio from the rest of the pack but not go overboard, as the management team still operated in the corporate environment. They approached us for our thoughts and a bid and we came up with this animated solution for the design firm.

We shot several traditional corporate headshots lit with the final animated renditions in mind and delivered images that were distinct from each other but similar in style. The result was a unique blending of traditional corporate headshots and animations that made the studio very happy.

How Does Digital Photography Benefit You?

For images which require post-production work our turnaround will vary depending on the requirements of the job. Since each digital photography project has different nees, we'll discuss the anticipated delivery times, as well as any revisions to that as the shoot progresses and client needs change.

Most often we can upload contact sheets for our digital photography clients to preview on line and then upload the final digital images to our servers for for downloading by the client. When digital photographs are transmitted electronicly there are no taxes charged.
